Everything, forever — every project, every status, every year, nothing auto-hidden.

The ledger

Every project you’ve ever recorded, grouped by fiscal year, newest first. Each year’s band carries its own rollup — projects, days off, days per project, average job, rate per billed day, the year’s gross — and collapses with a click. Rows keep their native currencies (a ¥104,000 day sits beside a £520 one; the totals convert), and files () or invoices () attached to a project ride as pills that open right from the row. The masthead reads your whole career: day rate now versus where it started, bookings, average project, best year.

Back-fill

The + past project row is tuned for entering old work: status defaults to Paid, the rate follows the client, and a committed row keeps its client and dates so the next entry starts where you left off. Back-filled rows keep their own dates — money that landed in a past year files under that year, which is what keeps the year rollups and the tax base honest.

Reading it your way

Filters facet by year, status and client; columns hide, resize by grip, and a fit chip sizes everything to content. Vacations interleave as amber Vacation rows between the projects they interrupted — a fact of the year, not a status. And if you like your ledger loud, Settings → Appearance can wash every row in its status colour; the default stays neutral, as a record should.
